Project
This project involved renovating three Child Development Centers (CDCs) and a Youth Activity Center (YAC) at JB Lewis-McChord totaling $27 million in construction. Two 22,000 SF CDCs were renovated and expanded with 8,000 SF building additions. Another CDC was renovated, and the 40,000 SF YAC was remodeled and expanded with a 9,000 SF building addition.
The mechanical upgrades supported national accreditation and training standards and enhanced security requirements.
The projects were designed to meet LEED Silver criteria.
